i went to a rhetlogist, because my condtion, of fatigue, pain and stiffness, is getting worse and worse. he started me on predisone,,after labs. he sent me a letter stateing i didn't have the typical rhetoid,disordes..ie,..lupus. ra..etc..i wonder if he is seeing if i have addisons disease. i looked up all the symptoms, and i have..weight loss, extreme fatigue, depression irritablity, my menustration did not start on it's own, could i have addisons disease with these symptoms/ the doctor just told me what i don/t have, and told me to take the predsione for two weeks. that was two weeks ago, i decided to start last night, and i already feel more energy, and my pain has decreased, as well as the burning in my eyes, is this one way a doctor will give this diagnosis, i don't have great insurance, and they proably wouldn't pay for many tests. oh and i also have hypothroid, for years.
