Addison's Disease Support Group
Addison's disease (also known as chronic adrenal insufficiency, or hypocortisolism) is a rare endocrine disorder. It is estimated that it affects about 1 to 2 in 100,000 people. It occurs when the adrenal glands, seated above the kidneys, fail to produce enough of the hormone cortisol and, sometimes, the hormone aldosterone
It's entirely probable that an abcess can cause a myriad of symptoms. General malaise is expected with a fever. Being "down" (if you mean depressed) could just be the result of feelin like crud and not being able to be yourself!
Follow up with a good dentist and don't increase any of your meds unless a health care professional tells you to do so.
Good luck and keep us posted!
Be well.
