Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) Support Group
Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), also known as acute myeloid leukemia, is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells. Patients with AML usually present with symptoms such as fatigue, bleeding, infection, prompting medical attention. An abnormal blood test reading will then result in further testing in a hospital with a hematologist to determine AML.

Hey everyone. It's your wild and crazy Jen!
I'm not sure if you've all heard the news but I've signed up to be a member on the leadership council of this incredibly awesome new advocacy campaign project, called i[2]y (I'M TOO YOUNG FOR THIS!), which benefits young adults with cancer.
As you can imagine, this organization really speaks to me in ways no other group has been able to. Without them, I would have never been able to discover such incredible support and community for folks my age.
Their website is ImTooYoungForThis.org and they have a killer MySpace page which needs your friendship now! We have a challenge goal of hitting 10,000 friends by the end of the year. If there's one thing I believe, It's that anything Is posible with the power of community. So, please visit MySpace.com/ImTooYoungForThis and request to become friends with this extremely awesome group!
Also, please be sure to check out their Benefit CD/Survivor Toolkit, which features 21 original rock, pop and folk tunes composed by young adult musician survivors. (My favorite song is "If The World Would Just End" by Kyler England, who lost her mom to breast cancer and wrote this song about the experience.
Buy or download a copy of the CD today and help make a difference for those in need. 100% of all net proceeds support Steps For Living, a progressive nonprofit communications, support and social advocacy agent for adolescents and young adults with cancer.
Rock on,
Jen

A deep longing accompaniedby the deepest Love some days. The heavy fog mayreturn and the next day, it may recede.Once again, it's...

Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
