Flouncy who lives near myself we was so excited when we both received a letter from our hospital..A support evening I think there was about eighty people and they went through the different conditons by not my Encro but Flouncys he seemed cool and I will say I thought we could have a rough deal but some people istening to some things you dont realize so a very interesting evening of what others go through..Now whilst Flouncys Encro was talking he was saying the word cured so question time I have to put up my hand and ask ....He agreed that its a chronic illness and some people can get to a good standard of feeling good but he agreed the word cured was used alot by doctors and should not be as it can mislead.. my main concern is people who hear the word and go off and never get monitored this worries me for which he agrees some can go a while sort of go into remission but find hits again...He said it they do not know why we get acromegaly and as yet not a cure its a chronic illness and doctors should use the word cure carefully
