My pit tumor has been removed and with the help of an Octreotide injection each month my growth hormone levels and IGF-1 are within goal. I still have acro symptoms though, especially joint pain in my hip. Just wondering if others of you have the same problem and have found any help. I take Tramadol twice daily but it doesn't totally relieve the pain. I have a difficult time getting comfortable at night to sleep and am in lots of pain when I first get up in the mornings. There are times when I can tell my hands are inflammed (larger) and some mornings I can tell my face is more swollen. I am so tired in the afternoons and just have to force myself to keep going or I give in and just lay down for several hours before I can move around.
