hello, I'm 19 years old and i've been fighting acne since I was about 12 I'd say (to be honest I don't remember any time really well when I didn't) and I've tried just about everything and my back is still in really bad shape, I don't think I've ever felt comfortable taking my shirt off and when I do I almost always get comments on it. in fact when I joined the airforce I actually had to have it waivered in order to join and I haven't seen any improvement in these past 7 years. I've tried almost every otc medication there is except for proactive but idk why that would work better. I've been to a couple dermatologists and a few general medical practitioners and they all say the same thing, they basically want to put me on accutane, but I've taken it before (two courses actually) and every last time I do, even in the smallest dose, it does absolutely horrible damage to my lips, no kind of lip balm helps and they end up bleeding all the time and I can barely even open my moth and they actually swell, it doesn't do damage to my liver though (all the monthly tests came back perfectly normal). but I'm at a total loss, now whenever I ask them what to do it's always the same line "well the only thing we really can do is prescribe accutane, it's the best on the market" then try to give me standard run of the mill tips that don't work when I follow them. honestly I'm not sure whatelse there is to do so any help is appreciated, thanks :)

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...
I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
