I broke one of the screws in my ankle that went through both the tibia and the fibula. It was supposed to come out once my bone graft has taken in the tibia but my doctor wanted me to wait after he saw the xray. He thought I needed more time for the bone to graft. Now I have a lot of pain when I try to walk. ANyone else with a similiar experience with broken hardware? I'm not sure if I should be trying to excercise it, or stay off until my doctor can remove it. These doctors are so hard to get any information out of!!! I have five weeks until I get it out....
