I just wanted to know, when I do start dating should I let the guy know that I am practicing celibacy, or do I just go with "my" flow? And if I should tell him, should I just tell him when I feel comfortable or right in the beginning?

When I finally arrive to the rooms of recovery. It was suggested for newcomer to stay relationship free for at least one year. I think the same should be true about abstinence and celibacy. So you can get comfortable with your self. First things first. You will know eventually who to tell and when or who not to tell.

I've always wanted to know how to go about this matter, so thanks for posting this...It has allowed me to think about it, and I've come to this: listen to your heart, only you will know when the timing is right, but as forealazch...* wrote, it is important for both your sake to tell the person you are dating of your decision to abstain from sex...best tell him after the second or third date, depending on how serious you think it's going to get, because it'll help you weed out the worthwhile guys and those who are just in it for quick sex. I hope this helps x
