I have finally realized that I do not need alcohol to "cope." I look to my Highpower for Strength, Wisdom and Courage, along with the people in the fellowship of AA and my family's suppport. I realize now that I probably drank because the the pain in my body that, until I quit for a couple of months, was able to be diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and restless legs syndrome. That may have even been brought on by my excessive drinking??
