Working / Worked
The pain pills that have been perscibe never did work, while in the emergency room the Doctor perscribed Gabapentin and Hydromorhone it has lessoned the pain a little but the horrific burning sensation I walk around with is excruciating.
Working / Worked
Bought a topical cream with capsaicin in it and it did give temporary releif when joints on hands and feet go red.
Working / Worked
Use when weather permits. Apply to trigger points 2-3 times/week. Avoid groin area. It took awhile to figure out how much to use. At first, it was quite painful but ice helps to squelch the pain. Good cheap way to treat my chronic myofascial pain.

Very hot when water touched it and uncomfortable didn't do much for me.
Working / Worked
Worked well. Dried everything up.

Can not use as PHN in my face and it always ends up in my eyes.

Oh Yes!!
This topical has been very helpful to me over the years. I found that I prefer to use a form of capsaicin that is a "Roll On" rather than a cream. Hands don't touch it. So no danger of getting it near my eyes.
Working / Worked
Don't know yet.
