It actually put me in the hospital last year. The doctor I saw (one time only) prescribed it to me but my problem is I have to go to the bathroom too much not that I cant go at all which is what this is for. So if you share the same problem I DO NOT recommend you taking this. The morning I took the first pill I ended up in the hospital with a lot of blood in my stool. Not a fun thing to go through.

I tried it but it was mainly for people that were constipated and mine was the opposite. The other down side is that I am allergic to it.

Took it a few years ago didn't work and gave me excruciating headaches. I hated it.

Helpful while it was available for most but made matters worse for me

Drs. wanted to put me on this, BUT I refused after reading the side effects & due to surgery for adhesions...come to find out, I was right, cuz the FDA pulled this drug.

Has been taken off of the Canadian market. When I did try it it worsened my ibs symptoms

did not work for me.

Gave me horrilbe diarrhea and cramping, worse than IBS symptoms. Was pulled by FDA shortly after I started talking it! I could only stand to try it for 4 days!

what can i say, it felt like it masked the problem
