Was GREAT! I can't afford the cost.

It works for me it ups me in a lighter sleep. I get in stage 1 2 3 for the first time. My memory has inproved.

Xyrem is definitely a beneficial drug. Before I started xyrem, I could vividly remember the few times in my life that I actually woke up feeling rested and with energy, because they happened so very rarely. Xyrem has helped me to get more days of the week where I can actually get out of bed feeling somewhat rested.
Working / Worked
Xyrem has improved the quality of my life. I started taking it a year ago and can say I actually wake up rested in the morning. My cataplexy is under control.
Working / Worked
It has changed my life. There have been no side effects.

very helpful for narcolepsy symptoms. I don't think it helps bipolar. I think it may contribute to my hypomania
Working / Worked
Doesn't put me to sleep! But sleep I do get is refreshing...and no hallucinations.

Husband is the patient. Only been on Xyrem for 3 months. Has made a vast improvement to him.
Working / Worked
Xyrem 3mg X 2 each night. (2-2.5 hours apart) I have had several strange experiences that I haven't read about including EXTREME frustration and crying-and what is this deal with "fighting the Xyrem" - I read this on another blog . . .that is silly - but I am doing it too sometimes. I think it may be a personality issue rather than a narcoleptic one. We are torn - we know we need to take the Xyrem and can do "a few more things" before it takes effect . . so we (I) "push" that window.
Working / Worked
Seems to be helping me stay more alert during the day.
