My brother hasn't started the Xeloda
yet, he is supposed to on March 16th. I am very skeptical about it and time is getting close. I am not sold on his doctor and I am actually pretty frantic.
had 8 rounds and it was horrendous, extreme fatigue, slept most of time, no energy couldnt walk hardly by end and felt like had severe flu, was on high dose though 5000mg a day , 2500 in morning and 2500 in evening.
Side effects include hand and foot syndrome. Too early to know if it works.
Terrible Diarrhea (not sure what part of it was associated with the radiation
, dehydration, weight loss, fatigue. Only had nausea/vomiting a couple of times in the beggining. Took along with radiation
causing "Drastic reduction in size of tumor"
