This is the last oral chemo that my mother was on. It gave her hand/foot syndrome that was like 3rd degree burns. She has now stopped this treatment as her cancer came back in her femur. She is awaiting to find what they are to start her on next.

diareaa, cramping in abdomen, exhaustion. some hair loss... metalic flavor in the mouth...fortunately i avoided the hand/foot skin loss symptom.

Worked almost as if a miracle drug, but after week two, no more detectable changes.

Not my friend either, caused had foot syndrome, but not as severe as with Doxil. It seems to be working well with the Tykerb to keep things somewhat under control. Mild hand foot problems. I lotion up my hands and feet real well at night and cover them up with socks and cotton gloves, I look like minnie mouse with the white gloves on. lol
