I already have a diagnosis of Panic disorder that I have had for over 10 years so I take Cymbalta regularly and have done so long before this attack. So my doctor decided that the best coarse of action was a sedative. I do realize that this can be addictive but because of having an anxiety disorder this is not unfamiliar for me. I am having severe issues with PTSD so Xanax has done a great job helping with panic attacks nightmares etc.
