i find if i have minor pain in my thighs or calves that walking it off on a flat surface does help.

I do a lot of walking each day...On average about 14 hours per week...This includes lots of hills... about 3 times per week...pushing my heavy shopping trolly home...I reduced about 1 from my waist etc through shopping using my trolly...
