I was in hospital already when swabbed for MRSA..and was immediately put on this via IV. I only had 2 courses of it and was taken off. I had no signs or symptoms of MRSA...just positive swabs.

daughter puthad red mans syndrome...they put the vancomycin in to fast....hospital was a huge disappoinment.

I recieved this one in the hospital because the infection was so severe that I almost lost my life. 7 days on the IV and also taking Bactrim by mouth. when leaving hospital I was switched to minocycline. eleven days later infection returned.
