Valaciclovir or valacyclovir is an antiviral drug used in the management of herpes simplex and herpes zoster (shingles). It is a prodrug, being converted in vivo to aciclovir. It is marketed by GlaxoSmithKline under the trade name Valtrex. more at Wikipedia

made me dizzy.

Medication very expensive but worked
so far i only take it when i have an outbreak cuz it was too expensive to take every day as preventive i had no insurance for long time i have medical card now and after my baby is born i will see about taking it daily. although i rarly have outbreaks it can't hurt

Tired at first, nothing now and no outbreaks since I started taking it daily.
Took it about 4 months before I had my daughter so that I could have a normal delivery without infecting her..
I take it everyday (1 gram).....has kept me from having an outbreak on a weekly basis like I was before. Works fantastic!

Extreme nausea taking gravol but in 2 12 days 5 weeks of itching and exhaustion is gone. What bugs me is how the docs dont seem to have a clue about this horrid disease which was worse for me than severe Rheumatoid Arthritis and reconstructive surgery on my foot.
