Started on this med to taper off of Klonopin, which was a disaster (accidental DT's!!). Worked great for the first year. Increasing side effects such as insomnia, paradoxical reaction ("wakes" me up in the morning), and increased sweating. Was like a zombie for the first 4 days of treatment until my body adjusted, so plan accordingly. I'm tapering off of this med now, I would only recommend for short term acute episodes. DIAZEPAM - very good at slowing the heart rate. help me alot although make you feel sleepy

I take this for sleep. I take 1-2 5mg tablets at bedtime. Before I was only sleeping for about 45 minutes at a time and now I can sleep about 2-3 hours at a time before waking up because of the pain.
