i am newly diagnosed with tm. I woke up on mya 7 09 with pain in my gumstooth. There is nothing wrong with my teeth. no cavities. after 3 weeks of pain radiating all over my left side of my face i went to my pcp. She put my on antibiotics thinking it was a sinus infection. she told me if it doesnt go away in a week that i must go to the neurologist. I went to the neurologist and she did say it was tn. I had to get an mri. The mri showed vessel near the 5 th nerve and other stuff.
