Timoptic (timolol maleate) is a non-selective beta-adrenergic receptor blocker. Timoptic ophthalmic preparations are used to treat open-angle and occasionally secondary glaucoma by reducing aqueous humour production through blockade of the beta receptors on the ciliary epithelium.

This seems to be working for me so far. It does sting a little going in, but I have had no side effects. Things look a lot brighter to me now, which is great.

I am forced to use timpotic in the ocudose, since it is more gentler. No preservatives. The side effects are discharge, and itchy dry eyes.

It stings & makes my eyesight more blurry I guess because it dialates me. But I'm using it 2X a day, along w/ Prednisone drops.

Seems to help a little less headaches but I lowered the dosage to 12 i.e. 5 mg. 2xday because I didnt like the side effects. Was tired and it was harder to exercise.
