Carbamazepine is used to control some types of seizures in the treatment of epilepsy. It is also used to relieve pain due to trigeminal neuralgia (tic douloureux). It worked for me I was pain free on it. However this drug turned my body toxic the damn neurologist never monitored my levels and as a result I was very close to death. BE CAREFUL on these types of drugs make sure you are being monitored. They are very strong.
