Carbamazepine is used to control some types of seizures in the treatment of epilepsy. It is also used to relieve pain due to trigeminal neuralgia (tic douloureux). Works great as part of cocktail. Minimal side effecets primarily sedating effect (gets easier to deal with with time)

Worked very well after only one pill. Neurontin and Topomax did not work for me. Both gave me memory lost, slur speech, difficulty to concentrate. Been on Tegretol for over a month and have not experienced any side effect. Literally pain free now. Doc prescribed 200mg twice a day, but i only take it once at bedtime and only as needed in the morning.
