I had this drug the first time I had chemo also. It did work at the time and kept me in remission for 6 years. One bad side effect and I'm not positive this is the drug but the whole time I had chemo all I could taste was metel. But it does go away after all your treatments are done. I heard after I was off it though if you suck on hard lemon candy it helps. Believe me it's worth a try.

I could think and read again! My legs would get very sore about three days following the infusion and would last about a week. I walked like a little old lady but my mind was clear once again!
