This is my second round of taxol. My cancer stayed away two and half years. My ca 125 starting going up. The ct scan showed two small 12 cm spots on my liver. I will be getting my 3rd tx of taxol on Oct 10 for this second round of txs for again a total of six txs.

I believe the Taxol to be working. The one side effect Ive had is numbness on my left pinky and ring finger. Of course the constipation and exhaustion.

I had this drug the first time I had chemo also. It did work at the time and kept me in remission for 6 years. One bad side effect and I'm not positive this is the drug but the whole time I had chemo all I could taste was metel. But it does go away after all your treatments are done. I heard after I was off it though if you suck on hard lemon candy it helps. Believe me it's worth a try.

I don't like taxol...! The first time I had a reaction and switched to taxotere. Now in a combination shrinking cancer.
Working / Worked
I could think and read again! My legs would get very sore about three days following the infusion and would last about a week. I walked like a little old lady but my mind was clear once again!
