For the most part Tapazole seems to work, although I will have occasional episodes of heart pounding and sleeplessness and tremors. I have been on it for 4 months, and now symptoms seem to be more frequent.

Within 2 weeks had gained alot of weight, even with modifying my diet and exercising. This drug seemed to hijack my metabolism, and I decided to stop taking it.

My thyroid goes from one extream to another and the longest I have been stable is about 2 months at a time. I am so tired of being sick!!! I have gained so much weight and can't seem to lose it, no matter what I do! My husband and I wanted to have a baby before I was diagnosed, but I've been told now that my Graves' is so bad I will never be able to have a child! I ask if they could take my thyroid out and was told I needed to be stable for several months and it was a very serious surgery!HELP!
