i used it for 2years and it keeps my lab results in the normal bracket, until i stopped and hyperthyroid re occurs. now i'm taking carbimazole.

I am currently using this medication, however I do have flare ups every so often. I am considering other treatment options at this time though.

Switched to 10 mg from Methimazole for hyper. Seemed to reduce sweats at first, but now I see no difference. New endocronologist recently had me cut down to 5 mg for being slightly hypo. Although all my hyper sysptoms are still evident.

I was originally put on Tapazole 8 years ago. I spent a little over a year on it, and then went into remission. I had a relapse in March of this year. The DR. put me back on tapazole and this time it did not work.

In remission, and not taking it now, I had no side effects.

Initioal drug he used to become more stable. He continued with chinese herbs thereafter.

Doing well on Meds, which have been lowered. Will be switching to PTU soon.
