Oseltamivir is an antiviral drug that is used in the treatment and prophylaxis of both Influenzavirus A and Influenzavirus B. Like zanamivir, oseltamivir is a neuraminidase inhibitor. I started taking Tamiflu during my second bad day. The next day I awoke feeling drastically better. I was advised I should have started taking it within 48 hours of infection, but it still reduced my symptoms. I didn't experience any side effects.
