Im taking 100mg twice a day no side effects
Had to increase dosage from 100 mg 2x a day ton150 mg 2x
Working / Worked
Initially it worked on a low dose, then I needed to increase the dose a little. THEN it gave me a pro arrhythmia - an ectopic heartbeat which was horrible. Had to stop it.
Havent had AFib since I started taking it 1 month ago.
No side effectsI can point to butstill have periodic breakthrus of Afibflutter
Since 25 July 2014 when 75mg metoprolol failed to terminate an AF episode, an initial 300mg Flecainide followed by 50mg twice a day has kept me in NSR. It does seem to occasionally make me feel a little tired but the side effects are markedly less than the 50mg metoprolol. I take it after breakfast and after dinner.
