Currently talking to Andrew, a therapist assigned to me through my employee assistance program. I am only allowed a few more sessions with him though. Trying to get on the wait list for a charity that specializes in sexual abuse counseling. After 30 years, I am finally ready to stop talking around the situation, and face the abuse itself.

talking with another survivor and in counselling . some counselling a disaster others great. i still advocate talking with other survivors as the best way to heal it takes away that life long feeling of being tottaly alone and thinking that it was your fault when it wasnt
