I have talked to my fiancee about it and it has helped a lot. I have not cut myself in over a year and i really don't remember the last time I punched a wall. But I do often have the desire to cut myself still.

Just opening up and talking to people seems to have done wonders for me, though it has by no means "fixed" all of my issues.
