talking to someone who understands what you have been through. Don't try talking to friends or family members who don't understand the situation. That won't help and you could risk being judged negatively.

I go to counseling and that allows me to vent and cry openly. I just joined a live support group which I will attend my first session next week. I don't know really how much it helps, but it can't hurt.
