Lately I've been swimming because I'm getting older (51) and it's not so hard on my body.

I try to go 1-2 times a week. It's very tiring, but the only king of exercise that I can do and that doesn't make me worse afterwards.

I think it is very helpful, I don't hardly swim as much as I take part in an organized water arobics class. I try to attend at least 3 days a week. When I miss I really feel the difference in coordination and my joints become stiff. The socializing is helpful too.
