Had surgery for stage 3 Kidney cancer and need to start treatment. It has been 3 months since surgery
Get in a Phase III group that studying Sutent against Pazopanib.
Was put on Sutent after released from hospital and at same time as radiation treatment. I did not handle the side effects at the 50mg dosage or at the 37.5 dosage - taste and appetite loss, constant stomach ache, nausea, vomitting.
Tired,but still able to work everyday.
slowed the cancer growth but My father had the worst rashes and thrush as side effects. took 1pill/day for 3-4 months
My husband went thru 4 weeks of sutent and his progretion went from a few spots on ribs and in lymph nodes to his entire pelvis, hips, more lymph nodes and a few spots on lungs, diaphram and ended up dying 8 weeks after starting sutent
just started sutent a week ago. i was completely fine , then one day at work i urinated blood with very large clots in it, went to the er. and next day had ct scan and that was it went for like 15 other tests in a 3 day period and then was told i had 3 months to live. doctor gave me sutent im on the end of my first week with it, im tired and itchy. losing my appetite. how long does it take for this sutent to work and how do you know if its working, do you start to feel better?
Took for 2 months. Was just taken off today. Not sure yet of next treatment.
Had such bad side effects that they took my off.
