I dont have cancer yet, I have full bone and cat scan every 6 months, So far nothing showing up,My blood pressure did rise and i'm now on blood pressure meds.Sutent was very hard in the beginning, Now my body has gotten used to it.
Has anyone tried Sutent without having a tumer
active? My doc says he has no idea if its going to work, and that theres not a 5 yr cancer free with stage 4 cancer?
but I've got used to it now.
Side effects: fatigue, tongue soreness, metallic taste, hypothyroidism
Mets to left adrenal gland and right mediastinal lymph node. No results from ct yet.
Have taken for two weeks now. Had to stop for a few days as my blood pressure went through the roof. The other symptoms are manageable and I hope to stay on this med because from all my reading it seems to be the best.
I am getting ready to start in the next few weeks.
my husband had minor side effects so far. like dizzenes, weakenes.
No side effects yet.
Finished round 2 and MRI shows decrease size of kidney tumor but increased metastatic lung tumor.
side effects: blisters, cramps, diarrhea, and feeling like he has to urintat all of the time.
