Working / Worked
Just started last Sat.
just started today
I have completed 12 cycles on Sutent. That equates to 18 months. The side effects remain the same but each cycle may have different intensity . Some cycle are milder than others. The timing of side effects can be anticipated. Stomach cramps, loose bowel movements, flatuance, some peeling and foot pain, stiffness, muscle aches, fatigue, occasional nose bleeding. These occure each cycle along with some others occasionally.
keeps peeling, using udderly, sore mouth, juicing
Side effects: Leg ulcers, coughing, fatigue, yellow skin, weight loss
Worked. Reduced tumor size by 60%. I voluntarily discontinued because of side effects.
Husband passed away June 8, 2009 at the age of 49 from RCC
Worked good, after 6 mo., the scan showed new places so he went on torisil. Only side effect, loss of hair.
Tumor has shrunk 25%. Side effects are getting better with each progressice dosage treatment of Sutent.
Sutent worked for one year and then failed. Nexavar didnt work at all. Currently on an aggressive four week radiation period to try and reduce the size of the tumor which is filling up the lungs and heart with fluid. If that happens to work considering a trial at the Mayo Clinic. He has lost 30 pounds in the last 3 months. It is getting to the scary point
