Thank God my EC was caught early enough that my surgeon feels no chemo or radiation is needed. I had 1/3rd of my esophagus removed along with 1/3rd of my stomach. All my nods were checked and all came back negative. after I was discharged the first night I developed a hole where they were attached and spent 2 more weeks in the hospital. I'm home now and am healing well. I have so many things you all have described dry cough, nausea (all the time) sick from tube feedings, runny nose. Lost 40lbs.

So far the laparoscopy and removal of the endo they could has helped, as I've only had one severe episode since the surgery. However, its only been about two months, so I am not sure how well its working in long term yet.

I had 4 major infections after my initial surgery. In a 12-month period, I had to be cut open 3 times. 1. remove the part of colon/cancer. 2. drain bags on two separate occasions. 2. Cut open and ended up with ileostomy, mucous fistula. 3. reverse ileostomy, remove gall bladder, and reconnect.

did well...on Tamoxifen but I don't see that one here.

I had surgery with one of only a handful of "endo specialists" in this country. My surgeon used a wide excision technique and a vaporization technique. I was diagnosed as stage 4 and my surgery was almost 4 hours. It was a long and difficult recovery but I am glad I did it.
Working / Worked
Don't know results yet. Surgery was fine, but because I deal with CFS... The fatigue and weakness is devastating. The pain is very mild.
