Working / Worked
I had surgery with one of only a handful of "endo specialists" in this country. My surgeon used a wide excision technique and a vaporization technique. I was diagnosed as stage 4 and my surgery was almost 4 hours. It was a long and difficult recovery but I am glad I did it.

I guess it worked it was so new to me didn't pay attention to what was done, nor did I think it was a big deal

Surgery helped in sept/2013. Symptoms are starting to come back though.

I was fine after wards, until a month later, getting my firs period after laposcopy, My first period is being very painful.
the only surgery i had was gall bladder removal by a good surgeon who did a lot of snooping around in there and got lots of pics that he wouldn't let me see for my other doc of my crohne's.

Went in for a diagnostic laparoscopy, they found that my endo was severe and caused my left ovary to stick to my bowel and become twisted. They ended up removing the ovary. No pain since.

Surgery went as smoothly as can be expected. I am still recovering.
Working / Worked
I had a complete hysterectomy and it was the final solution, although other problems then arose.

Two laparoscopies in 3 years. First one, had relief for 2 months. Just had my second one last week, fingers crossed!
Working / Worked
They removed both ovaries and it stopped a lot of it.. there is still pain but both ovaries were infected and swollen due to it to the point where one ovary was larger than my uterus and the other larger than a grape fruit. I will NEVER be able to have children.. i am 22 and in menopause because of this.
