Did a fast 1 week taper. I'm glad I didn't stay on it a year like psyc's wanted. Then I'd just have to kick in the far future. It's a crutch, but it is a little easier letdown. Kicking still sucks though.

May 23, 2009 was my suboxone induction. I've since switched to Subutex due to some side effects that may or may not have been from the Suboxone.

I have just seen a doctor and have started taking suboxen, I just started so it is too soon to tell... But I am feeling better and not suffering withdraw symptoms.

took subutex after stopping 110mg. methadone..59 hrs after last methadone dose and it sent me into acute w.d's..now I cut down to 27.5 mg's methadone for 4 days, then switched to shorter acting opiates..percs..to maintain.feeling rough but have managed..this is 3rd day since last dose of methadone. how much longer do I have to wait to try subutex again. I want off methadone! Traded a monkey for a monster when starting methadone from hydros.

The subutex worked, but after I got out of the detox where they were giving it to me I stayed clean for about a week and went back to using again. I figured I could just go back to the detox center and repeat the cycle. But after a while that gets extremly old and It's time to say enough is enough.

This was a complete waste of time.

did NOT fucking work,it was terrible.
But i was only 4 days off 210 mgs of methadone,so go figure.

My husband did the Subutex, and it did not work, because when he took it I swear it made him DUMB/ Hated him on it.

well if it wasn't so damn expensive my life would have been pretty much normal for the 16 months on subutex im sick of taking a pill that not only wont get me high at only half the cost of real dope and i never run out and haven been sick since and i know i cant fuk up it takes that choice from me as a whole i would give it two thumbs up but what happens when i decide to stop it ? if you have a problem and cant afford the treatment we all really need but you can please consider u can always go back to dope.
