Narcotic analgesics are used to relieve pain. Some of these medicines are also used just before or during an operation to help the anesthetic work better. Codeine and hydrocodone are also used to relieve coughing. Methadone is also used to help some people control their dependence on heroin or other narcotics. Narco... continue

Working / Worked
Pretty good success with Imitrex until recently. Stadol has been my back-up for the pain when Imitrex did not stop the migraine. Stadol failed me too recently. Imitrex makes me lethargic and Stadol renders me useless since I get dizzy, but at that point, I just want the pain to go away so staying in bed and sleeping is just fine. I have to use a Phenergan suppository prior to Stadol because it also makes me nauseous. The Stadol causes bitter drainage in my throat so I always chew gum.

Nothing works a well as nuhbane. But has to be given in shots.

Have been using for 2 days now. So far have had success. It has relieved some pain. Not gone away completely but giving me some of my sanity back. I use the nasal spray and it does have the most horrible taste ever after it gets past the throat, must chase it with food and ginger ale.

This drug has worked to best to stop the pain after migraine has begun. As with all pain meds you can only use it every 3 days or you will have rebound headaches. The insurance also has it on a limited list so you can only get it so often. I usually take an Aleve with it and if Im really nauseous and vomiting I have to take phenergan also. Also this is in nasal spray form and when it goes down your throat I kind of get nauseous.

take the nasal spray for severe migraines. works like a charm but have to be careful not to make a habit out of it.
Working / Worked
This helps for the first few hours. If the headache lasts longer than that it does no good for a 2nd dose.
Working / Worked
It helped relax every muscle and help me sleep. Only for the most severe migraines. It helped me envision the pain, roll it in a ball, and move it around my head. Couldn't quite get the pain ball to move. Sounds weird I know, but the pain therapist was impressed. LOL

it helps but it dosent last me as long as it should
