I lost 30 pounds in three months on this diet but when I went off of it (becuase it is not a realistic diet to live with forever) I gained the weight back.

Yes this diet works great, my doctor suggested it, the only thing is that for me I love pasta and it is very close to Dr. Atkins diet plan, but you can lose alot of weight very fast on this diet.
It worked until we started eating carbs again.
Lost 80lbs with this diet and have gained 20lbs back.
This worked for a few weeks after reaching maintenance. I did lose some weight but it came right back on. I also found out that eating too many proteins is not healthy.
