Did the South Beach diet and it did work. It actually is a good diet and one that you can maintain on a day to day basis. All diets work if you don't cheat.

Truly fantastic. am tired of reading review after review with people saying they've regained their weight. The simple fact is one should work out at least 5 times a week. South Beach worked for me (i had 2 stone to lose), i lost the weight in 2 months with hard dedication (phase 1 is difficult i remained on it for 4 weeks). I'm still technically on SB now, but Friday/Saturday i enjoy movies junk and beer. But because i go to the gym the weight remains at bay. Simple as that.

Did phase one for 2 weeks. Lost 10 pounds. Felt great. Went on vacation and carb binged. 2 weeks later I gained back 13 pounds. Works if you stick to it, but hard if you truly love sweets.

Mixed...worked great (after I got through the first 2 restrictive weeks). Lost about 20 lbs on this BEFORE I started a new psych med in May (gained 25 lbs after). Recently tried the diet again, and actually gained weight after the first 3 weeks on the the diet.
