This IV treatment helped with the pain. Problem was each time they had to "up the dose", as the pain was coming back sooner after each treatment. But it was helpful while it lasted. The biggest problem was one of my Ds was adamant that I think about the long term effects which could show up later in life (liver, kidney, heart problems etc)

When I get the solumedrol IV infusion, my boss likes it because it is like I'm on speed, I talk fast and non-stop and I get alot of work done. and I'm not almost sleeping on my desk because of the fatigue. but 2 days later my symptoms seem to come back with a revengence and seem worse that before, then usually after sleeping for 2 days I'm good to go for awhile.

IV done during hospital stays. Seemed to help.

This worked for optic neuritis, but the weight gain sucks

This always helps bring me out of attacks! Is a major pain in the ass as I go to ER for the 3 day doses (bad experience with home nurse!)
