pretty aweful, though it ALWAYS helps with a debilitating attack. causes extreme mental despair and causes me to get "moon face" and gain weight.

never pleasant but seems to do the job. side effects and withdrawl symptoms are miserable but worth the pain relief in the long run

only use this when hospitalized

5 day course for optic neuritis. Worked immediately, but I felt as if I were drowning in the drug by day 5.

Helped reduce the length of my relapses. Makes be tired and fatigued.

this works for me every time I have a flare-up. I don't like the side effects.

did it for 1 year and 4 mos. worked well in controlling my issues but last two infusions could not sleep even with sleeping pills. Also right after infusion had to be careful in speaking to people I would always overreact. felt jittery for a couple of days.

It helped me recover.

Used to Recover after attacks.

This IV treatment helped with the pain. Problem was each time they had to "up the dose", as the pain was coming back sooner after each treatment. But it was helpful while it lasted. The biggest problem was one of my Ds was adamant that I think about the long term effects which could show up later in life (liver, kidney, heart problems etc)
