Socializing works for me if I can get myself to do it. Especially small community type non credit classes, where you meet once a week for 7 weeks and do an activiy together. I recently took a canoeing class offered by my university. We went on a 2 night trip down a river in Mississippi. I struggled with anxiety the first 6 classes, but once we went on the trip, my social anxiety disappeared for a long while.

In the past year and a half I have been going to someone's house and having tea and a visit once or twice a week.
