Again, a mixed bag. I had a free flap from my left lat (a huge back muscle) and it left a lot of redundant tissue that has held up well over the years, but makes it difficult to get a good socket fit. The split thickness grafting kept breaking down and had to be cut out in various stages.

The first 3 surgeries were to help rid the risk of infection all the graphs took good except for the hand. She had another surgery to help with that but will still require more as well at orthopedic work

i had reconstructive surgery done on my nose in 2004 and sadly to say it didnt help as much as i thought it would and my time is running out to get what i need to get done. i have until i turn 18 and then the insurance will no longer cover any surgeries.
