I have never felt so helpless to watch my baby have so much pain and to be lifeless is some place I never wat to go to again. The lack of sleep just watching his every move and the nurses and Dr. I did not want any stone unturned. We were blessed to have the support of so many family and friends. It has only been 5 days and we just got home from the hospital yesterday and he is returning to his old self. His next appt is the 7th of May 2009 and I have so many more questions.

the shunts are working now but i dont know y his head is already 56cm... im still not familiar with what to watch for and needs more information....

Based on CT scans the shunt seems to be working well.

He has a two shunts..one on the left and one on the right side of his brain. So far so good.

It has worked for me so far, but I have developed severe migraine headaches and pain and discomfort in the shunt area, but doctors are doing little to resolve that and they say my shunt is fine so I am not sure what is going on.
