Running is a very therapeutic and physically satisfying form of exercise. Although I find it difficult to maintain in the winter as I dislike treadmills. Im still working on a solution for that one.

I was running training for a marathon when I was attacked so the BEST thing that I could do for myself was to get back out and run again with safety measures.

In my personel experience running is probably the best treatment for my anxiety. When you run it releases endorphines in your head which make you feel good confident and relaxed. I feel great when Im running and for period of time after. I wish I was fit enough to just run all day!!

I try to run at least a mile or bike 5 miles before working out. Pectus effects my lung capacity and overall conditioning. My goal is to be able to run 3 miles wthout a break by the end of the year. Right now I am at one mile.
