I try to run at least a mile or bike 5 miles before working out. Pectus effects my lung capacity and overall conditioning. My goal is to be able to run 3 miles wthout a break by the end of the year. Right now I am at one mile.

Running makes me feel alive and free. When I feel like I dont want to move when I get so depressed I want to crawl into my bed and never leave I go for a run and it makes me feel so much better.. It makes me feel like myself again. The only downfall... I have a lot of injuries and cant run like I used to...

I started running once or even twice a day for two miles the past week. I find this exhausting but it gives me a sense of accomplishment when everything else in my world seems to be falling apart from the anxiety. I cannot stop running now or the anxiety gets worse.
it usually works 6 out of 7 days a week.
