It helps to control Sonya's crying. She began to cry more when I took her off of it. She is now on a very low dose, once a day. She is doing well with it. Haley takes it once a day as well. I'm not sure how well it is actually working for her. As I said, I dont think her problem is BPD.

My son uses Risperdal and Tenex. It helps, however we are concerned about long term side effects of Risperdal, since he has taken this drug since 4th grade. He tried to go off .5 mg last year and he became so angry it was scary. He went back on after 2 weeks and I don't think he has really been the same since. He is still having more problems than usual with anger management.
