I take 6 pill a day in conjunction with the interferon and I'VE been told that the combination of the 2, is what makes the serious side effects.

Both medicines together worked for me. I do recall itching so bad, especially at night. Sometimes, I literally wanted to pull all my hair out just to get to my scalp. I had rashes all over my stomach that itched as well. I still have some scarring from scratching so much.
