I had the operation when i was a child..I also was the first person in Alabama to have this type of Dorsal Rhizotomy. The first operation was on my spinal cord, and the leg and hip operationa came later on. I spent 4 months in the hospital, and practically lived there until I was 4 years old. I had many test done on me during that time period. The operations were a success I now live a normal life..and golf is my passion. I hope my success has led to many more successful operations.
