I went to the Renfrew some years ago and although my eating disorder started up again, I have the memories of that place and it helps me through some of the tough times.

the program itself is not bad, but it's a business- the care more about money than helping patients. staff/administration pick favorites and treat people differently accordingly; rules do not apply to everyone in the same way, and they kick people out who really need their help.

I was at the FL location for four months, five years ago. It was INTENSE, but I relapsed right after. It's not very realistic because they remove you from the triggering environment, but the therapy is very helpful, and you meet some amazing people.
